Walk Loveland's public art, free and on your own schedule
You don't need a tour reservation or an August trip to see Loveland's sculpture scene. This is a loose, three-stop route you can do in an afternoon — a permanent sculpture garden, a downtown gallery walk, and a sculpture park at a shopping center most visitors drive right past.

Start here. Ten acres, 188 permanent bronze sculptures worth an estimated $5 million, free and open essentially year-round. Paved, handicap-accessible paths loop the whole garden, with a public restroom and several picnic areas along the way — easy to spend an hour just wandering. An expanded section continues across 29th Street.
A free, self-guided walk connecting five galleries within easy walking distance of each other: Art Space Loveland / Sidetrack Gallery (140 W 3rd St), Artworks Center for Contemporary Art (310 N Railroad Ave), Independence Gallery (233 E 4th St), Lincoln Gallery (429 N Lincoln Ave), and the Loveland Museum (503 N Lincoln Ave). Expect everything from contemporary exhibitions to historic collections and emerging local artists — plenty of it bronze, some not.
A less-expected stop: a sculpture park set inside an outdoor shopping center on Loveland's east side, worth a short detour if you're already near Centerra for food or shopping.
